Authentic. Dynamic. Electrifying.
Hi! I'm Sean, but some people know me as "The Motivational Rapper". Whether I'm speaking or rapping at a youth conference, or teaching high school students English Language Arts, I believe that empowering young adults is the key to unlocking a more empathetic world.
My background in leadership began when I was a student. After graduating high school as Student Body President I earned my B.A. at the University of New Mexico in Interpersonal Communication and Psychology.
Throughout my career, I've had the priviledge of speaking with thousands of middle school and high school students about topics that range from bullying to preparing for college. However, my core values set the tone for every presentation I deliver, not to mention my life. My core values in 3...2...1...
Kindness - Love yourself, love others.
Confidence - Believe in yourself, believe in others.
Community - Embrace the human connection and keep people who respect you close.
As a rapper, I like to keep my presentations energetic and interactive. In other words I think of my presentations as concerts - a nice blend of music and message. When I walk off stage, my goal is to have your students (and you) answering three questions:
What can I do today to better myself?
What can I do today to better my community?
What can I do today to better the world?
How will you outdoyou?
(Okay, I guess that's four questions.)
When I'm not speaking or teaching I love to rap, read, run, and pet my cat, Sam. Sam and I are based in New Mexico.
